Christ alone, Scripture alone, Grace alone, Faith alone, through the Means alone!
This has been rolling around in my brain since a recent frustrating conversation I had with a Baptist. What do you think?

It's not time to update, it's time to back-date. What is "through the means
alone" but another way to say (with St Cyprian) extra ecclesiam nulla salus?
Thanks for the heads-up on the comments, Chris. I was wondering why I hadn't seen any for a while.
As for your comment - update, back-date, down-date, whatever. I agree it's nothing new, really. I do like the Cyprian quote.
But I do think that we Lutherans can be even more clear about our differences with the protestants, and this just one way of expressing some of that.
