Dear Tom (if I may),

Very good sermons. I am a monk but my sister has 4 daughters, all grown up.

In Christ,

Great podcast! So, who was the professor that you spoke of at the beginning who asked "what would Luther say?"

Actually it was David Schmitt. Funny that I then went and found out one of Luther's most famous books was called "The Bondage of the Will". Duh!

Don't think I've ever met him...

I've known more than one person who didn't even know that there was a BoC much less The Bondage of the Will before entering a presem program or applying to one of the sems. I'm glad I didn't know about BotW in my enthusiastic-I'm just come back to church stage when I was reading two or three books a week as there was no way I was ready for it until I understood that God was doing all the doing. If I read BotW before I was ready I would have went back to being an atheist.
