It seems interesting to me that "The Hammer of God" is required reading to at LCMS seminaries. But while Lutheran Carnival is on the subject of Tools, I'm reminded of Dorthy Sayers Essay - The Lost Tools of Learning that my Paster and DCE uphold. As for me,One of my favorite stories in the Bible is found in 2 Kings 6:1-7 about an axe.
