Grace Website Updated

One of my many hats is webmaster of our church's internet site. I had been using a certain program to author the page, but due to some formatting issues (for instance, Pastor Poppe's picture and mine were mixed up) I had to re-do it. Hopefully the new format will prevent these issues in the future.

So (espcially if you are a Grace member) check out the newly designed site at:

http://members.ispwest.com/gracelutheran

or

http://GraceLutheranRacine.net

I welcome your comments, suggestions, and (constructive) criticism. Please remember I am an amateur here.

I would try a different, probably lighter background on your main page, one that provides more contrast with the next (see the text under Our Vision). Also, is there significance between red links and blue links?

The information is good. Good call using PDF for your forms. Captions would be good on your photos, which capture such a nice looking church.

As you are using tables to format text, rather than present tabular data, try a border=0 inside your table tag to drop the lines. It will increase contrast to your text.

The Links page has no background; you could try some consistency of background among all the pages to make the whole site more "cohesive".

Address and vital stuff at the top is a good thing. You can add this link to let people get directions to your church.

Good job; hope this helps!

In the first paragraph of my first answer, the word "next" would be text". Thanks. :)

Thanks, Dan! I will take most of your advice, if not all!
